Who we are

     After 33 years of service to our country my wife and I searched for an avenue to continue to serve, with a mission statement of; giving back to those who have served our great nation. We decided on Fairways Fore Vets, a Golf instruction based venture, with all net proceeds being donated to local and national support organizations.

   Eyeing a signature event, we partnered with a fellow veteran of over 30 years of service and a local, successful businessman to incorporate Fairways Fore Vets.  Once incorporated, a fund raising event was established and the Gulf Coast Veterans Charity Golf Tournament, hosted by Fairways Fore Vets was born.

​

     Our first tournament was held in '23, with over 120 participants.  Over 25 local business and individuals helped through sponsorship, donations, and providing raffle and auction items. The event raised $10,000, which was donated to the Wounded Warriors Project.

 

     So far in '24 over 30 lessons have been given with over $1,500 in donations being received.  The date for our '24 tournament has been set and we encourage you to visit our Charity Tournament tab.
